Motor Control Commissioning

Benshaw’s on-site commissioning ensures a smooth, trouble-free start-up. Our experienced application engineers work alongside your team to guide installation and commissioning, drawing on deep expertise in soft starter applications across industries.

On-Site Commissioning

During the design phase of a project, Benshaw sales engineers are available to visit your installation site and perform a complete site survey. Our goal is to ensure proper installation of newly purchased equipment.

Our on-site commissioning process is designed to help your start up go as smoothly as possible.

Benshaw Services Commissioning

Benshaw application engineers work directly with each customer’s internal staff to direct and/or support the commissioning of your project. Our commissioning team has extensive experience in soft starter implementations across a broad range of industries and applications. This service is normally agreed as part of a motor control supply agreement, but can also be quoted separately.

During the commissioning process, Benshaw engineers inspect wiring and help set up your new motor starting equipment. Key steps in the process include:

  • Site survey during the design phase to ensure proper installation of new equipment.
  • Ensure proper installation of newly purchased equipment
  • Check motor starter inputs and outputs
  • Perform low voltage simulations (where appropriate)
  • Work directly with customer staff to direct and/or support commissioning
  • Provide maintenance and operator staff training
  • Supply a written commissioning report (with original parameter settings)
  • Offer additional services as requested/quoted

Commissioning is typically included in motor control agreements but can also be quoted separately
