Sales Training
Sales Training course participants embark on a comprehensive journey to master the intricacies of Benshaw’s full range of products, capabilities and services. This course delves into the features, benefits and applications of each product line … equipping participants with the knowledge needed to confidently select, sell and support Benshaw offerings.
Throughout the course, participants will become adept at navigating the Benshaw catalog, understanding the nuances of variable frequency, and mastering the art of selling these products. Special emphasis is placed on solid state starters: Participants will learn how they operate, where they find application and effective sales strategies for the market. The curriculum also covers full voltage controls, spanning from molded case circuit breakers to motor protection relays. By the conclusion of this training, participants will have cultivated a well-rounded understanding of motor controls, positioning themselves as sales leaders within the competitive controls industry.
Our Sales Training sessions typically include both classroom and hands-on experience with various Benshaw products. Equipment, test units and all training materials will be supplied. Trainees should be experienced and have a working knowledge of 240/480 volt AC motor controls. However, it is important to note that our Sales Training course is tailored for sales proficiency, and does not delve into the technical aspects of programming and troubleshooting.
Technical Training
Benshaw Technical Training courses delve into the programming, troubleshooting and repair of our low voltage and medium voltage variable speed drives and starters. This specialized training course is indispensable for Benshaw technical sales engineers, as well as distributor/reseller technicians and field engineers aiming to proficiently support the Benshaw products they work with.
Topics covered include fundamental electrical principles, power and energy calculations, industry safety standards, and the intricate relationship between voltage, current and resistance.
